Caméras Rebelles is an engaged film festival for democracy and human rights, organized by the Amnesty International groups in Rennes. The event offers screenings of documentary and fiction films, debates, and citizen encounters on themes related to fundamental rights.

A festival for human rights

Each edition addresses a different theme related to human rights: the right to protest, climate justice, populism, environmental damage... The festival aims to inform and raise awareness among a wide audience about current human rights issues through cinema.

10 years of commitment

In 2026, Caméras Rebelles celebrates its 10 years of commitment to human rights. For this anniversary edition, the festival is organizing an exhibition "Quand les crayons se rebiffent" (When Pencils Rebel), freely accessible at TNB, featuring 10 panels covering the 10 themes addressed by the festival since its creation.

Screenings and debates take place in major cultural venues in Rennes and its surroundings: Cinéma Arvor, Ciné-TNB, and Cinéma Le Sévigné in Cesson-Sévigné.
