2026 Edition — The Carnival Celebrates its 4th Anniversary
The 4th edition of Carnaval de Louverné will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The costume parade will wind through the streets of the town center, causing temporary road closures between approximately 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM. The full program will be announced by the Louverné Carnaval association.

Practical Information
Location
The parade travels through the main streets of Louverné town center (53950), in the Mayenne department. The route is signposted and communicated in advance on the town hall website and the association's social media.
Access
By car: Louverné is located 5 km north of Laval, accessible via the D57. Caution: some streets are closed to traffic during the parade (generally between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM). It is recommended to park on the outskirts of the town center and walk to the route.
By bus: The TUL urban transport network serves the town of Louverné from Laval with regular services. Check the schedules on the TUL network website.
Schedule
The carnival takes place on a Sunday afternoon in March, with the parade starting at around 2:30 PM. The procession lasts approximately 1.5 hours, followed by additional activities. The Zumba flashmob precedes or accompanies the parade depending on the edition.
Prices
The event is completely free and open to all. Participation in the costume parade is free and encouraged. The Zumba flashmob is open to all volunteers who wish to participate.

Born in 2023 on the initiative of the association Louverné Carnaval, the Carnaval de Louverné is a popular event that has quickly established itself in the town's festive calendar. In just three editions, it has become a highly anticipated event for residents and a moment of intergenerational gathering.
A Grand Costume Parade
The heart of the carnival is a grand costume parade that winds through the streets of Louverné's town center. The procession includes:

The Zumba Flashmob
