Char en Son, the summer festival in Beaujolais

Born from the energy of a local association, Char en Son has established itself over the years as a must-attend summer event in northern Beaujolais. Every year in late June, the festival takes over the Ancien Barrage site in Dracé, right on the banks of the Saône, for two evenings of concerts in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

An eclectic contemporary music lineup

The program highlights contemporary music, including rock, folk, blues, reggae, punk, and chanson. Bands from the regional and national scene perform here, offering the audience two vibrant evenings dedicated to discovery and celebration.

Conviviality, local brewers and winemakers

True to its Beaujolais roots, Char en Son celebrates local producers. Food and drinks are available on-site, with local brewers and winemakers present throughout the festival.
