A magical Christmas in Dijon
Each year, Dijon adorns itself with its most beautiful lights to welcome the Christmas Fairytales. The Christmas market takes over several emblematic squares in the city center: Place de la Libération, Place Darcy, Place de la République, and Rue de la Liberté. Dozens of wooden chalets offer crafts, delicacies, and gift ideas in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Activities for everyone
Beyond the chalets, the Christmas Market of Dijon offers numerous activities: an outdoor ice rink, Santa Claus's descent down the facade of the Palais des Ducs, street performances, carousels for children, and free concerts. The illuminations transform Dijon's architectural heritage into a fairytale setting.
A strong Burgundian identity
The Christmas Market of Dijon cultivates a strong Dijon identity with its half-timbered chalets inspired by local architecture, its 361 fir trees, and its activities highlighting the traditions and products of the Burgundian terroir. Gingerbread, mulled wine the Burgundian way, and local specialties are all present.
