An enchanting Christmas village

The Christmas Market of Saint-Amand-Montrond takes over the Place de la République for a weekend in mid-December. The event hosts numerous exhibitors who present their artisanal creations: jewelry, glass engraving, floral decorations, watercolors, woodturning, ceramics, books, candles, soaps, and textiles.

Magical animations

The market offers activities for the whole family that create a magical atmosphere. Father and Mother Christmas arrive by donkey-drawn carriage at 6 PM at the Christmas Village to distribute candy to children. A spectacular motorcycle Santa Claus parade takes place on Saturday at 4 PM, followed by fireworks at 6:30 PM.

Music and traditions

The Banda de Noël d'Ainay enlivens the market from 2:30 PM with its festive concerts. Horse-drawn carriage rides are offered to extend the magic. The market is open on Friday from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM.
