Color Dole: The Festival of Colors in the Heart of the Jura

Color Dole is much more than just a colorful race: it's a true mini-festival that enlivens the city of Dole for a day. Created in 2023, this festive and solidarity event offers a 5 km non-timed walk accessible to everyone, from the youngest (from 3 years old) to the oldest, including people with reduced mobility.

A Route Through the Old Town

The circuit crosses the old town of Dole and its natural spaces, punctuated by several animation points: brass band, street artists, hot air balloon, Holi powder zones, giant fresco, and mascots. Each participant receives a color kit to participate in the collective throws that punctuate the route.

The Start Village: A Festive Space

The start village, located at the Parvis des Arquebusiers, brings together partners and sponsors around a catering area and a main stage animated by regional DJs. Stage effects include flame machines, daytime fireworks, cold sparks, and a Line Array sound system for a festival atmosphere.

A Solidarity Event

Color Dole is driven by a strong solidarity dimension. The profits from the event are donated to local charities working for children. The event aims to be inclusive and without any competition: no rankings, no timers, just the pleasure of sharing a colorful and festive moment.

Entertainment for All Ages

The route and the village offer various entertainment for children (face painting, games, mascots) and adults (DJs, bar, relaxation area). The day ends with a grand colorful finale on the main stage with collective powder throws and music.
