The caves of Baume-les-Messieurs are one of the most remarkable natural curiosities of the Jura. Located at the bottom of the reculée de Baume, near the Tufs waterfall and the imperial abbey, they offer a fascinating geological spectacle enhanced by a unique sound and light tour.
The caves of Baume-les-Messieurs extend over approximately 500 meters of accessible passages for the public. The underground tour reveals a succession of rooms and galleries adorned with spectacular limestone formations:

The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and follows an equipped circuit accessible to a wide audience. The constant indoor temperature of around 12°C offers pleasant refreshment in summer.
