Festival Photo Naturellement Doubs: Nature Enhanced by the Lens

Every autumn, the village of Labergement-Sainte-Marie, at the gateway to the Remoray Lake Nature Reserve in Haut-Doubs, hosts the Festival Photo Naturellement Doubs. Organized by the association Image Photo Nature du Haut-Doubs, this event brings together about twenty nature photography enthusiasts for a weekend dedicated to wildlife, landscape, and nature photography.

A Festival in the Heart of an Exceptional Territory

Labergement-Sainte-Marie is located in a remarkable natural environment, between Lake Remoray, the peat bogs of Haut-Doubs, and the Jura forests. This area, rich in biodiversity, is an ideal playground for nature photographers. The festival celebrates this natural wealth by exhibiting images captured in the landscapes of Doubs and beyond.

Exhibitions and Meetings with Photographers

The festival takes place on two sites: the Salle des Vallières and the Maison de la Réserve, the visitor center for the Remoray Lake Nature Reserve. Visitors can admire exhibitions of photographs of wildlife, flora, landscapes, and natural phenomena. Each photographer is present at the festival to interact with the public and share their passion and techniques.

Guest of Honor and Various Exhibitors

Each edition features a special guest. During the 7th edition in 2025, storm chaser Xavier Delorme was honored, with spectacular images of meteorological phenomena. The festival also hosts exhibitors offering photographic equipment, nature books, and nature-related crafts.

A Free and Committed Event

Admission to the festival is completely free at all venues. A raffle with numerous prizes donated by exhibitors helps to fund the event. The Festival Photo Naturellement Doubs aims to raise public awareness of the beauty and fragility of the nature around us, through the eyes of photographers.
