A board game festival in the heart of Brie

Born in 2020 on the initiative of the association Les Créçois Dés-Brie-Dés, the Crécy en Jeux festival is the result of the passion of a group of gamers from Crécy-la-Chapelle for modern board games. Every year in March, the Perichon gymnasium in this charming little town on the banks of the Grand Morin — nicknamed the "Venice of Brie" — transforms into a huge play area welcoming hundreds of visitors of all ages.

A fun program for all types of players

The Crécy en Jeux program is designed to satisfy both families with children and expert gamers. You'll find games for the youngest, family board games, expert strategy games, tournaments with prizes to be won, tabletop escape games, giant wooden games, role-playing games, and numerous fun activities. Volunteers are present at each table to explain the rules and guide players, making every game accessible even to newcomers.

A 2026 edition with a Wild West theme

The 2026 edition of Crécy en Jeux, held on March 14 and 15, promises a change of scenery with a Wild West theme that will permeate the festival's decoration and some activities. The Perichon gymnasium will welcome players on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with on-site catering to extend the day of play in a friendly atmosphere.

Crécy en Jeux is driven by the commitment of the association Les Créçois Dés-Brie-Dés, a group of board game enthusiasts who also organize regular game nights throughout the year in Crécy-la-Chapelle. The support of the municipality and the participation of several renowned game publishers such as IELLO or Origames contribute to giving the festival a professional dimension while preserving the authenticity and warmth of a local community event.
