The Art Craft Fair: A Showcase of Artisanal Excellence

The Blois Art Craft Fair is an annual event that highlights art crafts and artisanal creation in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Organized every December at the Halle aux Grains, it serves as a privileged meeting place between art craftsmen and the general public.

Nearly Forty Years of Excellence

Created in 1987 by the Association d'Artisanat d'Art de Loir-et-Cher (AAALC), the fair has established itself over the years as a benchmark event for art crafts in the region. From its humble beginnings to the major event it has become, this fair testifies to the vitality and dynamism of art crafts in Loir-et-Cher and beyond.

An Exceptional Diversity of Skills

Each edition brings together around forty art craftsmen selected for the quality and originality of their work. The crafts represented cover a wide spectrum of skills:

• Ceramics and Pottery: stoneware, porcelain, earthenware, raku
• Jewelry and Gemstones: creations in gold, silver, precious stones, and contemporary materials
• Cabinetmaking and Woodworking: furniture, decorative objects, woodturning
• Glassblowing and Stained Glass: blowing, fusing, traditional and contemporary techniques
• Leatherworking: bags, accessories, bookbinding
• Textile Creation: weaving, embroidery, natural dyeing, felting
• Cutlery, art metalwork, enameling, luthiery, and many other disciplines

A Free and Friendly Event

Admission to the fair is completely free, allowing everyone to discover these exceptional skills. A catering and tea room area is available within the fair, inviting visitors to extend their visit in a warm atmosphere. The craftsmen are happy to share their passion and explain their techniques, making each visit informative and enriching.
