La Familia: Live performance closer to families
La Familia is an innovative cultural program led by the Halle aux Grains - Scène nationale de Blois. Created in 2023, this traveling stage aims to reach audiences by offering accessible performances for children and young people throughout Loir-et-Cher each season.
Mobile seating to engage public spaces
Thanks to its mobile seating, La Familia takes over public spaces in the region's towns: village squares, schoolyards, community halls, parks, and gardens. Whether indoors or outdoors, in the city or the countryside, the traveling stage adapts to locations and audiences to offer quality performances under professional conditions.
A rich and varied program
Each season, La Familia presents approximately 18 shows and 54 performances in about ten towns. The program, designed in close collaboration with municipalities and local stakeholders, covers a wide spectrum of performing arts: theater, puppetry, circus, dance, music, and visual arts, with offerings suitable for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
An ambitious territorial partnership
La Familia is supported by the Halle aux Grains - Scène nationale de Blois with the backing of the Department of Loir-et-Cher and in partnership with Agglopolys - Blois Urban Community. This initiative demonstrates the Scène nationale's commitment to cultural decentralization and access to the arts for everyone, including in areas furthest from major cultural institutions.
A springboard for artists
By hosting touring companies and emerging artists, La Familia also contributes to the dissemination of contemporary creations for young audiences. The shows are selected for their artistic quality, their ability to spark imagination, and to foster dialogue between generations.
