The comedy event of the Aisne
The Festival du Rire d'Ambleny is an annual event organized by Rictus Productions at the Salle de la Vigne Catherine in Ambleny, Aisne. Created in 2023, this festival brings together established comedians and emerging talents every November for two evenings of varied shows mixing stand-up, sketches, and improvisation. Open to all audiences, it also offers on-site catering and donates 1 euro per ticket sold to the Secours Catholique of the Aisne Valley. A friendly and supportive event in the heart of Picardy.
Created in 2023 by Rictus Productions, the Festival du Rire d'Ambleny was born from the desire of two enthusiasts, Laurent Arnoult and Charles Perut, to bring joy, laughter, and entertainment to the Aisne region. Held at the Salle de la Vigne Catherine, a multi-purpose hall located at rue du Stade in Ambleny (02290), the festival offers an entire weekend dedicated to humor in all its forms every November.
The festival takes place over two days, usually a Saturday evening and a Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, doors open at 7 PM for shows starting at 8:30 PM, while on Sunday, doors open at 4 PM for performances starting at 5:30 PM. Each evening features four comedians who perform stand-up routines, one-man shows, sketches, and improvisations for the delight of a family-friendly and enthusiastic audience.
Since its creation, the festival has hosted notable names from the French comedy scene. The 1st edition (2023) featured Doug le Frisé, Léa Lando, Jo Brami, and Freddy Tougaux on Saturday, followed by Ben Is, Lisa Raduszynski, Laurent Arnoult, and Donel Jack'sman on Sunday. The 3rd edition (2025) presented Didou, Cindt Mostacci, Najim Ziani, and Kevin Bagot on Saturday, followed by Antoine Rabault, Cyrielle Knoepfel, Kristoff Fluder, and Kamini on Sunday, hosted by Laurent Arnoult and Charles Perut.
Beyond entertainment, the Festival du Rire d'Ambleny has a solidarity dimension: 1 euro per ticket sold is donated to the Secours Catholique of the Aisne Valley. Food and drinks are available on-site, allowing spectators to enjoy a friendly and complete experience. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
In just three editions, the Festival du Rire d'Ambleny has established itself as a must-attend comedy event in the Aisne. Driven by the energy of Rictus Productions, an association specializing in the creation and production of comedy, theater, and improvisation shows, the festival attracts an ever-larger and more loyal audience. Tickets are available online via the Weezevent platform.
