Place du Numérique — edition 2026
The 8th edition of Place du Numérique stopped in Blois on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 1 PM to 6 PM on the forecourt of the Halle aux Grains. Under the theme "Innovation and Solidarity", this free ephemeral village offered five dedicated spaces (Agora, Prevention, Digital Animation, Orientation and Careers, Digital for All), with Kimberley Pagézie, founder of Limonade studio, as its local patron.
8th Edition — Tuesday, May 5, 2026
For this 8th edition, Place du Numérique inaugurated the regional tour Humain & Tech 2026 in Blois, on the forecourt of the Halle aux Grains, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 1 PM to 6 PM. Five other stages followed in Chartres (May 19), Bourges (May 21), Tours (May 28), Châteauroux (June 2), and Orléans (June 9).
The Theme: "Innovation and Solidarity"
The main theme of the 2026 edition highlighted the talents and technological advancements that make Centre-Val de Loire a region at the forefront of digital transformation, while keeping humanity, cooperation, and inclusion at the heart of the Humain & Tech program.
Five Spaces in the Ephemeral Village
- Agora: conferences, debates and interactive workshops, project presentations and round tables on daily digital uses, AI and digital parenting.
- Prevention: workshops and immersive experiences on e-reputation, hacking, fake news and cyberbullying.
- Digital Animation: discovery of robotics and coding, mini e-sport tournament, meetings with regional video game studios (Creart Studio, 3DFX, Supercube, Salon des Énigmes, Guild Studio), PC configuration workshop for retrogaming and cooperative VR workshops.
- Orientation and Digital Careers: information on training, careers and professional opportunities, virtual reality career discovery workshops.
- Digital for All: digital mediation for daily procedures, FranceConnect workshops (PIMMS Blois) and presentation of the "Boussole des jeunes".
Local Patron: Kimberley Pagézie
For the Blois stage, the local patron was Kimberley Pagézie, founder of the Limonade studio, a web communication agency. She came to share her journey and professional experiences in the digital sector with the public, especially young people.
The Transversal Exhibition
The exhibition "Les oubliées du numérique" (The Forgotten Women of Digital), created by la Fabrique des possibles and les Petits Débrouillards, was installed at the heart of each stage of the tour. It paid tribute to women who have marked the history of digital through their work or inventions.
A Regional Humain & Tech Tour
Organized by Info Jeunes Centre-Val de Loire (CRIJ), the Bureau Information Jeunesse de Loir-et-Cher (BIJ 41) and the Région Centre-Val de Loire, the event is part of the Humain & Tech program which succeeds the Human Tech Days launched in 2019. The 8th edition of Place du Numérique toured 6 cities in the region between May 5 and June 9, 2026.

Place du Numérique: A temporary village dedicated to digital
Place du Numérique is an annual event that transforms the parvis of the Halle aux Grains in Blois into a true temporary digital village. Free and open to all, it allows participants to discover, experiment with, and understand the challenges of digital technology in a fun and educational setting.
