Décivore: Local Music in the Spotlight in Poligny

The Festival Décivore was a unique musical event held in Poligny, the capital of Comté, in the Jura. Created in late 2018 and organized by the association L'Écho des Sons, this festival stood out for its 100% local philosophy: the programmed artists were from the region (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté or neighboring regions), and the drinks and products offered at the bar and for catering were exclusively artisanal and local.

An Evening to Promote Regional Talents

Décivore took place over one evening, at the Salle des Fêtes in Poligny, in a spirit of reunion and sharing. The format brought together five groups performing successively on stage, with sets lasting 45 to 75 minutes, without a specific musical style being favored. The 2022 edition (October 8, 2022) notably hosted Dudes Of Groove Society, Plastic Age, Holy Fallout, Bartolomew, and Scream Citizen. The first edition was held on November 2, 2019.

Prices Accessible to All

True to its philosophy of proximity and accessibility, Décivore offered very low prices for both entry and consumption (entry around 4 to 6 €). The first drink was offered for only 1 €, and the entire bar served only artisanal and local beverages, so that the greatest number could enjoy the evening.

A Festival Rooted in its Terroir

Beyond music, Décivore aimed to be a militant act in favor of local creation and short supply chains. By exclusively programming regional artists and sourcing from local producers, the festival created a virtuous circle benefiting the entire territory. This strong rooting in the Jura terroir made it an authentic event. If a new edition were to be organized in the future, this entry would be updated.
