"Des Livres et Vous" is a book and illustration fair organized by Eventail Productions as part of the Salon Made in Alsace, a network of events celebrating Alsatian know-how and creativity. Since its creation, this traveling literary fair has established itself as an unmissable event for lovers of regional literature, comic book enthusiasts, illustration, and graphic arts. The event highlights the vitality of Alsatian publishing and offers a privileged meeting space between authors and their audience.

Around thirty exhibitors from the book world

Each edition brings together around thirty selected exhibitors from publishing houses, bookstores, media libraries, authors, illustrators, bookbinders, calligraphers, and graphic designers from the region. From independent publishers to self-published authors, as well as book artisans and comic book creators, the fair offers a complete overview of the Alsatian book chain. Visitors can browse the latest releases, get books signed, and interact directly with the creators.

Workshops, signings, and meetings

Beyond the exhibition stands, "Des Livres et Vous" offers a program of creative workshops for all ages: introduction to calligraphy, illustration workshops, art bookbinding, creative writing, and public reading. Book signing sessions punctuate the three days of the fair, allowing readers to meet their favorite authors in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Literary meetings and round tables complete the program.

A free event open to all

True to the spirit of the Salon Made in Alsace, "Des Livres et Vous" is completely free. This accessibility is at the heart of the project: to allow as many people as possible to discover the richness of Alsatian literary and artistic creation. The fair welcomes both seasoned bibliophiles and families with children, casual visitors, and book professionals. The space dedicated to the fair, located in the Salle des Corporations during the Haguenau editions, offers a warm setting conducive to browsing the stands.

Made in Alsace: an ethic of local production

The Salon Made in Alsace, which hosts "Des Livres et Vous", brings together over a hundred exhibitors in the fields of gastronomy, crafts, decoration, housing, and fashion. By integrating a space dedicated to books and illustration, the event affirms the place of literature in the Alsatian cultural heritage and contributes to the influence of local creators. The 2024 edition attracted nearly 16,000 visitors, confirming the public's enthusiasm for this multidisciplinary regional fair concept.
