The blues at the heart of Périgord

The Douchapt Blues Festival is much more than just a festival: it's a human and musical adventure that unfolds throughout the summer in the villages of Périgord. Created by Jean-Luc Wargnier and the Douchapt Blues association, in partnership with the inn Au Bon Vivre, the event offers a series of blues dinner-concerts every Friday evening in various locations in the Dordogne.

Revitalizing villages through music

The festival's objective is to bring small villages back to life by organizing friendly evenings around the blues. The concerts take place in intimate and warm settings—inns, village squares, community halls—creating a unique closeness between artists and the audience.

An eclectic blues program

The program features renowned artists from the French and international blues scene: Benoit Blue Boy, Vincent Bucher, Nico Wayne Toussaint, Gladys Amoros, and many others perform on successive Fridays. The festival explores all facets of the blues, from Delta blues to Chicago blues, including blues rock and acoustic blues.
