About Du Vent dans l'Abbaye
Du Vent dans l'Abbaye is a classical music festival organized by the association La Bise des Vents in Chablais (Haute-Savoie). It invites you to discover or rediscover the repertoire of wind instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries, performed by enthusiastic and talented musicians who share their music with a wide audience. The festival is itinerant: its concerts take place in several heritage sites in Chablais, around Abondance Abbey.

- Friday, July 17 — 8 PM · Abbaye d'Aulps (Saint-Jean-d'Aulps) — « Discovering the Basset Horn » (in partnership with Abbaye Classic'): basset horn trio, followed by Vivaldi's Four Seasons by the Orchestre de Chambre de Lyon.

- Friday, July 24 — 8 PM · Villa du Châtelet, Évian-les-Bains — « estuairE »: violin, clarinet and piano trio.
- Saturday, July 25 — 8 PM · Abbaye d'Abondance (cloister) — « Haydn Reimagined »: string quartet, flute and clarinet.

Wind music in the heart of Chablais
Created in 2025, the Du Vent dans l'Abbaye festival is organized by the association La Bise des Vents, which brings together passionate musicians around the repertoire of wind instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries. Basset horn, clarinet, flute, theorbo, and chamber ensembles respond to each other in demanding yet accessible programs.
An itinerant festival in Chablais
Concerts take place in several heritage sites in Chablais: Abondance Abbey (abbey church and cloister), Aulps Abbey in Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, Saint-Maurice Church of La Chapelle-d'Abondance, and the Villa du Châtelet in Évian-les-Bains. The festival forms local partnerships, notably with « Abbaye Classic' » at Aulps Abbey.
