The Enduropale du Touquet: 50 Years of Legend on the Sand
Since 1975, the Enduropale du Touquet has been the unmissable event for motorsport on sand. Created on the vast beaches of Touquet-Paris-Plage, this motorcycle endurance race has become the world's largest event in its category, attracting over 2,000 riders and 300,000 spectators each February.
A Unique Sporting Spectacle
The Enduropale is an endurance race where riders compete on a sand circuit laid out on the beach, several kilometers long. The conditions are extreme: heavy sand, sea spray, waves, and wind create a ruthless playground that tests both machines and riders. The spectacle is total: motorcycles overtake each other, get stuck in the sand, fall, and get back up in a cloud of sand, cheered on by the crowd gathered along the course.
Race Categories
The event takes place over three days with several categories:
- Friday: The Enduropale Vintage pays tribute to pre-1996 motorcycles, honoring the pioneers of the event.
- Saturday: The Enduropale Espoirs, Enduropale Juniors, and the Quaduro (quads) offer spectacular and hard-fought races.
- Sunday: The main Enduropale race, the weekend's premier event, brings together the best riders for a three-hour endurance race.
A Popular and Festive Atmosphere
The Enduropale is much more than a race: it's a popular event that brings together families, motorcycle enthusiasts, and the curious in a festive atmosphere. The Enduropale village features motorcycle exhibitions, food stalls, entertainment, and rider meet-and-greets. Access to the beach and the racecourse is free, allowing everyone to experience the event up close.
The 50th Edition in 2026: A Historic World Final
The 2026 edition will mark a historic turning point: for the first time, the Enduropale du Touquet-Pas-de-Calais will host the final of the World Sand Race Championship. The world champion will be crowned on the sand of Touquet, celebrating half a century of passion and sporting excellence. The dates of February 13, 14, and 15, 2026, have been chosen based on tide coefficients to ensure optimal racing conditions.

The Enduropale du Touquet celebrates its 50th edition from February 13th to 15th, 2026, with a historic event: the final of the World Sand Race Championship. For the first time, the world champion will be crowned on the sand of Touquet-Paris-Plage.
The program includes the Enduropale Vintage on Friday, February 13th at 2:30 PM, the Espoirs, Juniors, and Quaduro categories on Saturday, and the main race on Sunday.

Location
The Enduropale takes place on the beach of Touquet-Paris-Plage, 62520 Le Touquet-Paris-Plage.

Access to the beach and the course is free. VIP hospitality packages are available on the online store.
Access
By car: Touquet-Paris-Plage is accessible via the A16 (exit 26 - Le Touquet/Étaples). Warning: traffic is very heavy during the event. Park-and-ride facilities and shuttle buses are provided.
By train: Étaples-Le Touquet station, then shuttle buses or coaches to the beach.
Practical Tips
- Beach access is free, but arrive very early to get a good spot.
- Bring very warm and waterproof clothing: the event takes place in February by the sea.
- Protect yourself from sand kicked up by the motorcycles if you are close to the circuit.
- Protective eyewear is recommended.
- Traffic is heavily disrupted: prioritize park-and-ride facilities and shuttle buses.
