Entente Nocturne: Party as a Team Sport

The Entente Nocturne Festival was born in 2018 from an idea by the collective One One Six: to organize an electronic party bringing together musical styles as diverse as dub, psytrance, acid, techno, and house, while giving each participating collective complete creative freedom on its stage. This founding principle — the inter-collective festival — has made Entente Nocturne a unique event in the French electronic scene.

A Unique Model: The Inter-Collective Festival

What sets Entente Nocturne apart from all other electronic festivals is its operation as a network of co-organizing collectives. As Julien Fumoleau, an early coordinator, explains: "each small group of collectives has total creative control to imagine its programming, its scenography, the story it wants to tell, and the animations for its stage." This model generates an exceptional diversity of experiences, impossible to replicate in a centrally programmed festival. From 16 participating collectives in 2018, Entente Nocturne grew to over 24 collectives in subsequent editions, demonstrating the concept's appeal.

Le Kilowatt: An Exceptional Playground

The former EDF power plant in Vitry-sur-Seine — renamed Le Kilowatt — became the natural HQ for Entente Nocturne from the second edition onwards, with the venue itself becoming a co-organizer and managing an annual stage. With its 10 stage areas (5 per night) completely reconfigured from one evening to the next, Le Kilowatt offers a capacity for 4,000 festival-goers and a unique space for artistic experimentation. The scenography collectives transform each area into a singular universe, ensuring that no two evenings are ever the same.

An Eclectic Program and Strong Values

Entente Nocturne also stands out for its values: ecological commitment (ban on non-reusable plastics, distribution of pocket ashtrays, short-circuit food offerings), accessibility, and inclusivity. Over the years, the festival has hosted diverse artists such as Ajja, Jonas Kopp, Setaoc Mass, and dozens of DJs and live acts representing the diversity of the French and international alternative electronic scene. Recent editions generally take place in late September, with parties running until the early morning.

An Edition 2025 Full of Momentum

The 2025 edition (from September 29 to mid-October 2025) has confirmed the festival's vitality and the growing adherence of the Île-de-France underground electronic community. With its immersive stages, psychedelic visuals, and high-quality sound system, Entente Nocturne remains the best entry point into the Parisian alternative electronic collective scene.
