The inter-collective electronic music festival — final edition in April 2026
ℹ️ Festival discontinued. After seven years of existence and 14 editions, the Entente Nocturne Festival organized its ultimate event — «La Dernière Entente Nocturne: l'État de Fête Final» — on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at La Cité Fertile, in Pantin. This farewell edition concluded the inter-collective festival's adventure.
The Entente Nocturne Festival was born in 2018 from an idea championed by the One One Six collective: to organize an electronic party bringing together musical styles as diverse as dub, psytrance, acid, techno, and house, giving each participating collective total creative freedom over its stage. This founding principle — the inter-collective festival — made Entente Nocturne a unique event in the French electronic landscape.
What distinguished Entente Nocturne from all other electronic festivals was its operation as a network of co-organizing collectives. As Julien Fumoleau, coordinator from the very beginning, explained: «each small group of collectives has complete creative control to imagine its programming, its scenography, the story it wishes to tell, and the animations for its stage.» This model generated an exceptional diversity of experiences, impossible to reproduce in a centrally programmed festival. From 16 participating collectives in 2018, Entente Nocturne grew to over 50 collectives involved over seven years, demonstrating the concept's appeal.
For several editions, the former EDF power station in Vitry-sur-Seine — renamed Le Kilowatt — was Entente Nocturne's natural headquarters, the venue itself becoming a co-organizer. With its stage areas entirely reconfigured from one evening to the next, Le Kilowatt offered a unique artistic experimentation ground. For its final edition, the festival took over La Cité Fertile, a redeveloped brownfield site in Pantin (Seine-Saint-Denis), featuring 5 scenographed stages, a secret stage, and a festive village.
Entente Nocturne also distinguished itself by its values: ecological commitment (prohibition of non-reusable plastics, distribution of pocket ashtrays, short-circuit food offerings), accessibility, and benevolence. Over the editions, the festival welcomed artists as diverse as Ajja, Jonas Kopp, Setaoc Mass, Elisa Do Brasil, and dozens of DJs and live acts representing the diversity of the alternative French and international electronic scene.
On April 18, 2026, Entente Nocturne brought together for the last time 28 collectives and over 60 artists for 14 hours of celebration at La Cité Fertile. Presented by the organizers as «the last Entente Nocturne in history,» this «État de Fête Final» closed seven years of inter-collective parties. The festival does not seem set to resume.
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Entente Nocturne held its very last event at La Cité Fertile (Pantin): "The Final State of Celebration", an ultimate 14-hour celebration, from midday until early morning. Presented by the organizers as "the last Entente Nocturne in history", this farewell edition brought together 28 collectives and over 60 artists (DJs, live acts, performers).
The program unfolded across 5 themed stages with distinct musical identities — house, techno, bass/dub, organic/psytrance, and a hybrid/experimental stage — complemented by a secret stage. Beyond the music, a festive village offered karaoke, roller party, a life-sized Mario Kart circuit, and stalls, as well as a midday banquet and a closing ceremony to mark the end of the adventure.
