An International Musical Gathering

Eurochestries Charente-Maritime is more than a festival: it's a major cultural event that brings together 350 young musicians from all over the world each summer. This international festival of youth orchestras celebrates its 36th edition in 2026, demonstrating the longevity and reach of this exceptional event.

Over 60 Concerts in Two Weeks

From July 30 to August 12, participating orchestras give over 60 concerts in remarkable heritage sites in Charente-Maritime: Romanesque churches, castles, abbeys, and village squares. Each ensemble presents its own musical program, offering a diversity of repertoires ranging from Baroque music to Romantic symphonies, as well as musical comedies.

The Grand International Orchestra

Beyond their individual concerts, the young musicians work together to create a grand international orchestra that brings together all 350 participants. This exceptional ensemble performs at the spectacular closing concert at the foot of the Donjon de Pons, a moment of intense musical and emotional connection.

Closing Concert "Féerie au Donjon"

The closing concert, titled "Féerie au Donjon" (Enchantment at the Keep), takes place in the majestic setting of the Donjon de Pons. The 2025 theme "Symphonies and Musical Comedies" illustrates the richness and diversity of the repertoire offered by these young international talents.
