EverySing in Montlouis-sur-Loire

EverySing is a unique festival, entirely dedicated to the voice in all its forms, held at the Espace Ligéria in Montlouis-sur-Loire, Indre-et-Loire. Inspired by the great Nordic and London vocal festivals, EverySing aims to highlight the richness of singing and actively participate in the renewal of choral singing.

The voice in all its states

The festival explores all facets of the sung voice, from solo to large choir, including a cappella vocal ensembles and mixed voice-instrument formations. The program covers a wide musical spectrum:

  • Choral Pop and Rock: Choirs reinterpreting great pop and rock standards with original vocal arrangements
  • Vocal Jazz: Scatting, jazz harmonies, and vocal improvisation
  • A cappella: Vocal groups without instrumental accompaniment
  • Beatbox and vocal percussion
  • Traditional singing and world music

A participatory approach

EverySing doesn't just present concerts: the festival invites the public to become active participants in music. Vocal workshops, open mics, and collective singing sessions allow everyone, regardless of their level, to experience shared singing. This participatory dimension is at the heart of the festival's identity.

The Keystones and local choirs

The festival relies on a dynamic network of local choirs, including The Keystones, a pop-rock vocal ensemble of about twenty choristers based in Montlouis-sur-Loire and directed by Gaël Sérandour and Clémentine Saïs. These local groups perform alongside renowned national and international guest artists, such as the Finnish group Fork or Pop' Phonies.

A festival supported by the town and Cepravoi

EverySing is supported by the Ville de Montlouis-sur-Loire in partnership with Cepravoi, the resource center for choral singing in the Centre-Val de Loire region. This partnership guarantees the artistic and educational quality of the festival, which contributes to the influence of Montlouis-sur-Loire as a cultural hub on the banks of the Loire.
