Voyages en Guitare 2026 — September 11 to 20
The 10th edition of the Voyages en Guitare festival takes place from September 11 to 20, 2026, in Chinon, Indre-et-Loire. For ten days, more than 25 concerts, many of which are free to access, will showcase the guitar in all its forms — flamenco, gypsy, world music, jazz, blues, classical, baroque, rock, and swing — in the squares, terraces, gardens, and heritage sites of Chinon and the surrounding municipalities.
The festival coincides with the European Heritage Days and culminates at the Collégiale Saint-Mexme, a Romanesque setting that hosts the main ticketed evenings, while numerous free concerts animate the historic center throughout the week.
Headliners 2026
- Charlie Winston — Collégiale Saint-Mexme, Saturday, September 19 (8:30 PM). For his first acoustic solo tour, the British singer-songwriter rearranges his tracks in a stripped-down stage format.
- Titi Robin & Roberto Saadna — a duo bringing together guitarist Titi Robin and Catalan Romani singer Roberto Saadna, for an original repertoire of world music sung partly in Catalan Romani and Spanish.
- Qairo — a quintet with world and traditional sounds, fusing flamenco, Turkish music, and oriental influences (Spanish vocals, oud, Turkish clarinet).

Voyages en Guitare is a festival dedicated to guitar in all its forms, held annually in September in Chinon, Indre-et-Loire. About Thirty Concerts
Each edition features approximately thirty concerts, many of which are free and accessible to all. Performances take place in the Collégiale Saint-Mexme, in Chinon's squares, in troglodyte caves, and in neighboring towns. In 2025, the festival notably hosted the group Vaudou Game for an exceptional evening.

The Collégiale Saint-Mexme, a jewel of 11th-century Romanesque art, offers exceptional acoustics for guitar concerts. Restored and transformed into a cultural space, it is the beating heart of the festival. The Voyages en Guitare Association
The festival is supported by the Voyages en Guitare association, located at Place Saint-Mexme in Chinon. The association works year-round to promote guitar and world music, also organizing workshops and musical encounters. Reservations and information are available from the Chinon Tourist Office.
