Festi'Jeux: the fun event of the spa town

Born in 2022 on the initiative of the local attractiveness agency and the association Des Trolls et des Jeux, Festi'Jeux de Bourbonne-les-Bains has quickly established itself as the unmissable fun event in Haute-Marne. Every summer, the castle park of this ancient spa town is transformed into a huge open-air playground, welcoming families, spa-goers, and enthusiasts from all over the Grand Est region.

More than 200 games for all tastes

The festival offers visitors an impressive collection of over 200 games covering a wide range of genres: strategy, party, skill, and detective board games, role-playing games with dice and miniatures, traditional and modern card games, as well as giant wooden games made from recycled materials. Fans of immersive challenges can also try their hand at the escape games offered at the Centre Borvo, where riddles, keys, locks, and mysterious doors test participants' logic and teamwork.

A dedicated space for the little ones

A cosy space is specially set up for toddlers, with books, seek-and-find games, and activities adapted for young children. This special attention makes Festi'Jeux a truly intergenerational event, where everyone can find something to enjoy regardless of their age.

Tournaments and entertainment

Each edition features public tournaments open to all, such as the Skyjo Action tournament organized by the spa town's media library, with prizes for the winners: board games and gift vouchers from local shops. Musical entertainment and a DJ set the rhythm for the evening, while food stalls offer sweet and savory crepes as well as refreshing drinks.

A network of passionate associations

Festi'Jeux brings together a dynamic network of associations and gaming partners: the association Des Trolls et des Jeux from Bourbonne-les-Bains, the shop Temps Libre from Chaumont, the association La Jambe de Bois, the association L'Octodujeux from Martigny-les-Bains (Vosges), and the media library of Bourbonne-les-Bains. This synergy between local and regional players ensures a rich, varied, and renewed gaming offer at each edition.

An exceptional setting in the castle park

After its first editions on the Place des Bains, the festival was relocated to the castle park of Bourbonne-les-Bains, a shaded green space offering welcome coolness in the summer heat. This historic and tree-lined setting, located in the upper part of the town with a panoramic view of the Borne and Apance valleys, gives Festi'Jeux a unique atmosphere, blending heritage, nature, and conviviality.

Festi'Jeux — edition 2026

The 5th edition of Festi'Jeux is expected in the summer of 2026 in the castle park of Bourbonne-les-Bains. Building on the growing success of previous editions, the festival is expected to once again offer over 200 board games, giant games, escape games, tournaments, and entertainment for the whole family in a shaded and friendly setting.

Festi'Jeux 2026 - 5th Edition

Festi'Jeux returns in the summer of 2026 to the castle park of Bourbonne-les-Bains for its 5th edition. Following the growing success of previous editions, the fun festival of the Haute-Marne spa town continues its growth.

The expected program includes: over 200 board games for all ages and skill levels, giant wooden games, role-playing games, escape games at the Centre Borvo, public tournaments open to all, and a dedicated space for toddlers. The partner associations — Des Trolls et des Jeux, La Jambe de Bois, L'Octodujeux, the shop Temps Libre, and the media library — will once again be mobilized to host this festive and friendly day.

On-site catering with crepes, drinks, and a refreshment stand. Admission remains free to allow as many people as possible to discover the joy of gaming with family or friends.
