Geek Legends: The essential geek culture event in Haute-Saône

Geek Legends has established itself as the major geek event in Franche-Comté. Born from the passion of a team of volunteers for the universes of pop culture, this convention brings together thousands of visitors each year in Vesoul from all over the region and beyond. In 2025, the 8th edition confirms the event's place in the cultural landscape of Haute-Saône.

A rich and varied program

Over two days, Geek Legends offers a rich program that delights young and old alike. The cosplay contest, a highlight of the convention, welcomes up to 24 participants per day — free registration from 10 am — with spectacular stage performances. Video game enthusiasts can find arcade machines, retro consoles, and the latest new releases, while fans of board games and role-playing games have dedicated areas for memorable sessions.

Fan club exhibitions, Japanese culture stands, signings by illustrators and authors, musical games, and stage performances complete a program that leaves no downtime. A food court and tattoo artists are also present for total immersion in the geek universe.

A venue suited for great ambitions

The event takes place at ParcExpo70, the Vesoul Exhibition Center, located at Rue Victor Dollé in Noidans-lès-Vesoul. This large covered space comfortably accommodates the many exhibitors and visitors, with generous opening hours: Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Advance ticket holders benefit from access from 9:30 am.

Geek Legends on tour

Building on its success in Vesoul, Geek Legends is now expanding to other cities in eastern France. The convention will visit Lons-le-Saunier in February and Oyonnax in May, before returning to Vesoul for its main edition in November. This development demonstrates the vitality of geek culture in rural and semi-rural areas, far from just the major Parisian shows.
