The 31st edition of Fenêtres sur Courts, Dijon International Short Film Festival, takes place from November 14 to 21, 2026 in seven cultural venues across the Dijon metropolitan area. A week of screenings, competitions, and meetings centered around the short film format.
Fenêtres sur Courts returns from November 14 to 21, 2026 for its 31st edition. Organized by the Plan9 association in partnership with l'atheneum (Université Bourgogne Europe), the festival presents its program in seven cultural venues in Dijon and its metropolitan area (Cinéma Pathé Dijon, Auditorium de l'Opéra, La Minoterie, La Vapeur, l'atheneum, etc.).
Four Official Competitions
The festival offers four competitions: the regional competition (students from high schools, middle schools, and film schools in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté), the Francophone competition « Humour & Comédie », the European competition (fiction, animation, documentary), and the international competition « Genre Films » (fantasy, horror). Additionally, there are numerous thematic sessions: the Minot'animé youth animation afternoon, the Animation Night, cinematic curiosities screenings, and professional meetings.

The meeting point for short films in Burgundy
Founded in 1995 by Didier Besnier, director of the Eldorado cinema, Fenêtres sur Courts has become over the years a major event in the regional and national film landscape. Organized by the association Plan9 since 2012, the festival is the only one in Burgundy to benefit from the recognition of the National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image.

The festival offers four official competitions as well as out-of-competition screenings. Animated films, documentaries, fiction, experimental films: all genres of short films are represented.
