Festilac is a music festival that takes place in the exceptional setting of the Théâtre du Lac, by the Gabas lake in Lourenties. This open-air musical event brings together nationally renowned artists and local musicians in a green setting between lake and forest, a few kilometers south of Arzacq-Arraziguet.

Music Schools in the Spotlight

A highlight of Festilac, over 150 musicians from music schools in the region perform to close the festival, offering an exceptional showcase for young talents from Béarn. This moment of sharing illustrates the festival's mission: to create connections between generations through music.

The Gabas Lake: An Exceptional Natural Site

The Gabas lake is a 25-hectare artificial body of water nestled in the hills of Béarn, 15 km south of Arzacq-Arraziguet. Surrounded by forests and meadows, it is a popular relaxation spot for locals. The Théâtre du Lac, an open-air stage set up on the banks, offers a unique natural setting for concerts, with the lake as a backdrop.

The Hest'en Gabas Association

Festilac is supported by the association Hest'en Gabas (“Fête en Gabas” in Béarnais), chaired by Frédéric Lahore. This local association brings together volunteers passionate about music and cultural entertainment, who work to bring the Gabas lake area to life through festive and unifying events.
