Festiv'été 2026: 5th Edition
The 5th edition of Festiv'été is confirmed from June 1 to July 28, 2026 in Andrézieux-Bouthéon. True to its mission as a free and open summer festival for all, Festiv'été will once again offer a rich and eclectic program of activities in the various neighborhoods and spaces of the town.
An Anticipated Program
As every year, the Festiv'été 2026 program will revolve around several highlights:
- The return of the Urban Trail for a new sporty and friendly edition on the banks of the Loire.
- The Fête de la Musique spread over several dates and locations throughout the town, from the Conservatory to the neighborhood squares.
- Ciné Transat screenings, outdoor film projections under the stars in the parks and green spaces of Andrézieux-Bouthéon.
- Fun and family activities: giant games, creative workshops, street performances, and activities for children.
- Festive evenings: guinguettes, concerts, special events, and the traditional July 13th fireworks.
The detailed program will be announced in spring 2026 on the City of Andrézieux-Bouthéon website and via the town hall's social media channels.

- Sunday, June 14, 2026 — Urban Trail d'Andrézieux-Bouthéon (5th edition) · Esplanade du Complexe d'animation des bords de Loire (CABL), rue des Garennes · Three courses: Urba'Découverte 5 km (start 9:20 AM, €6 / €10 duo), Urba'Challenge 10.5 km (start 9:00 AM, €12), Urba'Explorateur 17.5 km (start 9:10 AM, €17). Charity race benefiting the association Les yeux du cœur. Organized by the City and FAC Athlé. Registrations on logicourse.fr.
- Sunday, June 21, 2026 — Music Festival · Place Victor Hugo and various districts of the commune · Festive evening with concerts throughout the city, from the Conservatory to the neighborhood squares of Andrézieux and Bouthéon. Detailed program announced by the City closer to the event.
- All summer long — Guinguette des bords de Loire · Banks of the Loire, between the playground and the skatepark, opposite the CABL · Opening early May 2026, operating until October 31. Kitchen, bar, covered room, lounge areas (~150 seats). Stage with concerts, blind tests, board games, pétanque court, themed evenings. Every day during school holidays.
- Summer 2026 — Ciné Transat · Parks and green spaces of the commune · Open-air cinema screenings under the stars at dusk. Film program communicated by the City.
- Summer 2026 — Sports activities on the banks of the Loire · Beach volleyball at Les Méandres, tournaments, family entertainment, and outdoor activities.

Access and Transport
By Car
Andrézieux-Bouthéon is located 15 minutes from Saint-Étienne and 50 minutes from Lyon via the A72 motorway. Follow signs for Andrézieux-Bouthéon centre. Free parking is available near the various event locations.
By Train
Andrézieux station is served by the TER Saint-Étienne - Montbrison line. The town center is a few minutes' walk from the station.
By Bus
The town is served by the STAS network (bus lines from Saint-Étienne) and by intercity buses of the Loire department's TIL network.
Event Locations
Festiv'été events take place in various locations throughout the town: Town Hall park, banks of the Loire, Théâtre du Parc, Conservatory, neighborhood squares, and various outdoor spaces. The detailed program specifies the location of each event.
Prices
Almost all events are free. Some occasional activities may have a voluntary contribution or a modest fee. No tickets are required for most events.
Food and Drink
Refreshment stands and food stalls are available during major events. The guinguettes and festive evenings also offer food options on-site.

Festiv'été is the major summer event in the town of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, in the Loire department. Since its creation in 2022, this outdoor festival celebrates the arrival of summer with a program of varied, friendly, and accessible activities for everyone. Driven by the City of Andrézieux-Bouthéon and its privileged partner Andrézieux-Bouthéon Animation, Festiv'été brings together residents and visitors around an eclectic and generous program.
A Rich and Varied Program
Each edition offers between twenty and thirty events spread over nearly two months, from early June to the end of July, with possible extensions in August and September. The program includes:
- Concerts and live music: The Fête de la Musique is spread over several days and locations, from the Conservatory to the neighborhood squares of Andrézieux and Bouthéon, including festive evenings with local and regional bands.
- Outdoor cinema: Ciné Transat screenings offer projections under the stars in various green spaces of the town.
- Sports activities: The Urban Trail of Andrézieux-Bouthéon brings together runners and walkers for a friendly urban race, accompanied by volleyball tournaments on the banks of the Loire.
- Games and recreational activities: Creative workshops, giant games, children's activities, and street performances punctuate the summer days.
