Free music in the park of Château de Presles
In just a few editions, Festival Alice has established itself as a must-attend musical event in Cusset. Supported by the MNA Taylor association and the Tessier de Rauschenberg Foundation, this entirely free festival takes over the sumptuous park of Château de Presles each year, offering an enchanting setting for two days of musical discoveries and conviviality.
The Château de Presles, located on boulevard du 8 Mai 1945 in Cusset, houses an exceptional tree-lined park that serves as the natural backdrop for the festival. Spectators settle on the lawn to enjoy concerts in a relaxed and rustic atmosphere. The main stage, festival village with food trucks, a bar, stalls from local artisans, and play areas create a festive and accessible environment for everyone.
The Festival Alice program mixes established artists and emerging talents in a spirit of discovery and sharing. Pop, French song, electro, folk: styles mingle to offer the public a rich and varied musical experience. The 2025 edition notably hosted Christophe Mali (singer of Tryo in solo), Anna Majidson, Charlie Motto, Flor Mata, Jean Castel, Octave Lissner, Emma Hoet, Copy Cat, Gran Turn, and Andreïa. In 2024, the festival featured Lord Esperanza, Malo', Natalia Doco, Dandee, and Gildaa.
In partnership with the Conservatoire de Vichy Communauté, Festival Alice organizes the Alice Tremplin, a program dedicated to emerging artists from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This competition offers winners the opportunity to perform on the festival stage, contributing to the discovery and promotion of new talents. The entire Conservatory also participates in the program with performances during the weekend.
The complete freeness of Festival Alice is at the heart of its project. Organizers aim to make culture and music accessible to everyone, without financial barriers. This commitment is also reflected in the focus on conviviality, welcoming families, and the quality of the festival experience. The festival village, with its food trucks, bar, and artisans, invites leisurely strolls and encounters.
Festival Alice returns for its 4th edition on June 5 and 6, 2026, in the park of Château de Presles. True to its values of freeness and discovery, the festival will offer two days of varied outdoor music. The Alice Tremplin, in partnership with the Conservatoire de Vichy Communauté, is open to emerging artists from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region wishing to perform on the festival stage.
