Renaissance heritage festival in the village of Marville
Marville is a village with exceptional architectural heritage, a testament to a great period of economic and artistic prosperity during the Renaissance. Under Spanish rule, the town experienced a golden age that left a remarkable legacy: the Saint-Nicolas church, Gothic chapels, lords' tombs in the Saint-Hilaire cemetery, convents, and bourgeois houses with sculpted facades.
The Festival Arts et Renaissance de Marville was created to promote and showcase this unique heritage. Organized approximately every two years, the festival transforms the village into a space for celebration and culture where past and present meet.
