About Musique Pays Houdanais
The Festival de Musique du Pays Houdanais is a day of free open-air concerts organized by the Communauté de communes du Pays Houdanais (CCPH). It has no fixed location: each edition is hosted by a different village in the area, in partnership with the local town hall and community associations. Past and future hosts include Dammartin-en-Serve in 2023, Tacoignières in 2025, and Gressey on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
The day features around ten short sets, running from mid-afternoon until late evening, primarily showcasing local bands playing French variety, pop, soul, jazz, blues, rock, rockabilly, grunge, and reggae. There are also activities and on-site catering. Admission is free.

A free festival that moves to a new village every year
The Festival de Musique du Pays Houdanais is supported by the Communauté de communes du Pays Houdanais, which hosts the event in a different commune within its territory in the western Yvelines region each year.
