About Ramboludik
Ramboludik is the board game festival of Rambouillet, organized by the association Barak'à jouer. Since its first edition in 2023, this late summer event brings together for three days at the Salle Raymond-Patenôtre modern board game enthusiasts, miniature wargame players, collectible card game players, tabletop role-playing gamers, and historical wargamers. Free and open to all audiences, Ramboludik offers a vast free play area with hundreds of games to borrow, introductory sessions led by volunteers, miniature painting workshops, tournaments, and role-playing game tables. In just a few editions, the festival has established itself as a major gaming event in the Yvelines, attracting families, beginner gamers, and experienced enthusiasts in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Ramboludik: Board Games Celebration in Rambouillet
Created in 2023 by the association Barak'à jouer, the Ramboludik festival has, in a few editions, become the major gaming event in Rambouillet and its surroundings. Every late summer, the Salle Raymond-Patenôtre transforms into a huge play area where players of all ages and levels meet.
A Rich and Varied Gaming Program
The festival covers the entire world of contemporary board gaming:
- Modern Board Games: hundreds of titles available for free loan, from the latest releases to great classics
- Miniature Wargames: tables for Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, and Gaslands Refuelled, with miniature painting workshops
- Collectible Card Games: Magic: The Gathering tournaments in Premodern and Commander formats
- Tabletop Role-Playing Games: tables run by experienced game masters to discover or practice RPGs
- Historical Wargames: strategic tabletop simulations
Free, Friendly, and Accessible
Admission to the festival is completely free. Passionate volunteers welcome and guide visitors, offer introductions to many games, and lead workshops throughout the weekend. On-site catering allows you to refuel without leaving the gaming universe.
Barak'à jouer: An Association Dedicated to Gaming
The association Barak'à jouer, founded in Rambouillet, hosts game nights, workshops, and gaming events throughout the year. The Ramboludik festival is the annual highlight of its activities, bringing together the gaming community of Rambouillet Territoires and beyond.
Ramboludik — edition 2026
The 4th edition of Ramboludik will be held from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Salle Patenôtre in Rambouillet. The program, currently under development, will feature board games, miniatures, role-playing games, tournaments, and workshops with free access.
4th Edition — September 2026
Ramboludik IV returns from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Salle Patenôtre in Rambouillet. This 4th edition will again offer a vast free play area, tournaments (including Magic: The Gathering in Premodern and Commander formats), Warhammer and 40K tables, miniature painting workshops, role-playing game tables, and historical wargames. The full program is under development.
