Marées d'Humour — edition 2026
5th edition: Les Jumeaux sponsor the new comedy scene
The Festival des Marées d'Humour held its 5th edition from May 14 to 16, 2026 in Le Crotoy, at Salle Toulouse-Lautrec. For this new installment, the duo Les Jumeaux (Steeven and Christopher Demorra) took on the role of sponsors, hosting the young talent evenings and presenting their full show at the closing.
Three evenings, two discovery showcases and one headliner
The festival maintained its historical format: two showcase evenings dedicated to the young gems of the new French-speaking scene (Thursday and Friday at 9 PM, hosted by the sponsors), followed by a full show by the headliner on Saturday evening. This 5th edition allowed the audience from Le Crotoy to discover eight emerging comedians (Mathieu Polo, Maoulé, Florine Chevallier, Valentin Ladoë, Yoanna Salesse, Monsieur Segur, Capucine Gourmelon, Poulet de Feu), before a festive finale with Les Jumeaux in their show « Bonjour, au revoir, s'il vous plaît, merci ».
A public favorite
As with each edition, the announcement of the « public's favorite » concluded Saturday evening, distinguishing one of the artists from the discovery showcases based on audience votes.

Laughter lands in the Baie de Somme
Since 2022, the Festival des Marées d'Humour has been bringing a wave of laughter and good cheer to the seaside resort of Le Crotoy, on the edge of the Baie de Somme. Over three evenings in May, this young festival has established itself as a must-attend event for comedy and stand-up lovers in the Hauts-de-France region.
A springboard for the new comedy scene
The DNA of Marées d'Humour is discovery. The festival is resolutely focused on emerging talents in French-speaking humor, these young comedians who electrify comedy club stages and social media. Each edition is placed under the patronage of a recognized comedian – their patron or patroness – who lends their fame and benevolent eye to the new generation.
The first edition in 2022 was brilliantly inaugurated by the duo Éric et Quentin, figures of French television humor. Subsequent editions have featured a variety of talents, blending stand-up, sketches, one-man/one-woman shows, and improvisation, in an intimate format that brings artists closer to the audience.
The Salle Toulouse-Lautrec, an echo chamber for humor
The shows are held in the Salle Toulouse-Lautrec, located on rue Eudel, behind the Saint-Pierre church in Le Crotoy. This human-sized venue offers ideal acoustics and proximity for comedy shows, allowing for a real connection between artists and the audience. The hall's name echoes the stay of the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in Le Crotoy, where he sought inspiration from the incomparable light of the Bay.
A weekend of laughter and fresh air
Scheduled for May, the festival allows spectators to combine evening shows with daytime excursions in the Baie de Somme. Walks on Le Crotoy beach, seal watching, crossing the bay on foot, or a ride on the steam train: the exceptional natural setting provides a perfect counterpoint to the evening's laughter. The festival thus contributes to the tourist appeal of Le Crotoy outside the summer season, boosting the local economy in the spring.
