Citizen and cultural festival in Cergy-Pontoise (Val-d'Oise) — event discontinued since 2015
There is no edition scheduled in 2026 for this event. This page remains accessible to archive the history of the manifestation and will be updated if a new edition is announced.
ℹ️ Event discontinued. The ETC Festival only had two documented editions, the last one on November 6 and 7, 2015, at the Cergy-Pontoise Leisure Island. No subsequent edition has been publicly announced, and reference databases (InfoConcert, Route des Festivals) explicitly state that this festival no longer exists. As of the verification date, no 2026 edition appears in the official agenda of the City of Cergy or that of the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration.
The ETC Festival took place in Cergy-Pontoise (Val-d'Oise), under the big top of the Cherche-Trouve Circus School, located on the Cergy-Pontoise Leisure Island. This one-hectare setting, in the heart of 250 hectares of greenery and ponds, offered a natural backdrop for this cultural and civic event.
The festival offered a program combining concerts, shows, and workshops. Musical evenings were held from 7:30 PM to 1 AM, with free participation. Workshops, conferences, and round tables focused on themes related to the social and solidarity economy, recycling, ecology, and sustainable lifestyles.
The event was organized in partnership with several structures in Val-d'Oise, including the Ligue de l'enseignement du Val-d'Oise, the Cherche-Trouve Circus School, the Cergy-Pontoise Leisure Island, as well as various associations related to the social and solidarity economy. The 2nd edition, in November 2015, marks the last public trace of the festival.
Since the discontinuation of the ETC Festival, Cergy-Pontoise's cultural life has been structured around other major events: the street arts and circus festival Cergy, Soit ! in September, the Arts et Humanités Festival by Théâtre 95 in spring, the Cergy Street Festival organized by ESSEC students, the Festival du Regard dedicated to photography, as well as the annual program of Points communs — Nouvelle scène nationale de Cergy-Pontoise et du Val d'Oise.
ℹ️ 2026 Edition unconfirmed — event halted since 2015.
No 2026 edition of Festival ETC has been publicly announced. The last documented edition took place on November 6 and 7, 2015, at the Île de loisirs de Cergy-Pontoise, and the festival has not had any editions since. Reference databases (InfoConcert, Route des Festivals) explicitly state that it no longer exists.
ℹ️ 2026 Edition unconfirmed. At the time of verification, no official source confirms the holding of a 2026 edition of Festival ETC. The official agenda of the Ville de Cergy for June 2026 does not mention any Festival ETC, and specialized directories indicate that the festival has not existed since its 2nd edition in November 2015. To discover currently active festivals in Cergy-Pontoise, one can turn to Cergy, Soit! (September), the Festival Arts et Humanités du Théâtre 95 (spring), the Festival du Regard (photography, autumn), or the Cergy Street Festival.
