A unique pyrotechnic show in Centre-Val de Loire

The International Pyrotechnic Festival takes place every year at the end of August at the Étang Duris, a picturesque body of water located in Luant, about fifteen kilometers from Châteauroux, in the Brenne Regional Natural Park. Created in 2021 by the association Luant Events, this festival has quickly become a must-attend event for pyrotechnics and night show enthusiasts.

Five fireworks displays and a laser show

The festival's concept is unique: during three hours of show, five fireworks displays are launched successively from the water, each synchronized with music and interspersed with a breathtaking laser show. The reflections of the fireworks and lasers on the waters of Étang Duris create a striking visual effect, amplifying the magic of the show.

A different theme each year

Each edition of the festival is built around an original theme that guides the artistic design of the fireworks and the laser show. Previous editions have explored various universes, from fantasy to the fantastic, including children's dreams. This thematic approach gives each edition a unique identity and encourages the public to return year after year.

An enchanting natural setting

The Étang Duris offers an ideal natural setting for this type of show. Located in the heart of Brenne, the land of a thousand ponds, this body of water surrounded by nature allows spectators to enjoy a preserved environment. The public can settle in seated areas or on the lawn, with the option to book a meal in advance or eat at the food trucks on site.

Professional and passionate organization

The Luant Events association, founded by Frank Jean, organizes this event with the support of the municipality of Luant and numerous volunteers. The association also offers other cultural and festive events throughout the year, such as cabaret evenings and concerts, contributing to the animation of this rural territory.
