The 100% female festival celebrating women's voices, journeys, and commitments
Created in 2007 by the association Arpèges & Trémolos, the Un Week-End avec Elles Festival is a unique event in France, entirely dedicated to artistic projects led by women. Spread across various locations in the Tarn region — from Florentin to Albi, from Le Garric to Castres — this multidisciplinary festival highlights women's voices, journeys, and commitments through concerts, dance performances, photographic exhibitions, conferences on professional equality, and themed meals. Each April edition combines artistic excellence with societal commitment to showcase creators from all backgrounds.
Since 2007, the Un Week-End avec Elles festival has offered an exceptional platform for female artists in the Tarn department. Supported by the association Arpèges & Trémolos, founded in 1996 and organizer of the renowned Pause Guitare festival, this event was born from the desire to give greater recognition to women in the contemporary musical and artistic ecosystem.
Un Week-End avec Elles is distinguished by its traveling format, deployed across several iconic locations in the Tarn: the Café Flo in Florentin for intimate and gourmet musical days, the Maison de la Musique de Cap Découverte in Le Garric for evening concerts, and other venues and spaces in Albi, Castres, Lautrec, and Castelnau-de-Lévis. This multiple geography allows it to reach diverse audiences and build connections with the territories.
The program blends concerts (chanson, world music, jazz, rock, electro), dance performances, photographic exhibitions, conferences on professional equality, and round tables bringing together women entrepreneurs, stage technicians, and change-makers. The Curiosity Club, a networking space, and themed meals complete an experience that goes far beyond just a concert.
The 2026 edition, from April 9th to 12th, celebrates both the 19th edition of the festival and the 30th anniversary of the Arpèges & Trémolos association. The presence of Patti Smith on April 12th at the Maison de la Musique marks this double anniversary with an exceptional highlight, confirming the festival's national and international reach.
The 19th edition of the Un Week-End avec Elles festival will take place from April 9th to 12th, 2026, in the Tarn region, featuring Patti Smith Quartet on April 12th at the Maison de la Musique. This special edition celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Arpèges & Trémolos association. Concerts, dance, conferences, and meetings are planned.
The Un Week-End avec Elles festival returns in full force for its 19th edition, from April 9th to 12th, 2026, also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Arpèges & Trémolos association. An exceptional highlight: the Patti Smith Quartet will perform on April 12th at the Maison de la Musique de Cap Découverte.
