Festiv'Été: The Grand End-of-Summer Celebration at Parc de Champagne

Festiv'Été is the closing highlight of the "Un Été à Reims" program. For four days at the end of August, the Parc de Champagne transforms into a vast open-air playground for children and teenagers aged 7 to 17. Organized by the City of Reims, this free event has become a highly anticipated occasion for families in Reims.

A Rich Program of Activities

The Festiv'Été program combines sports, games, and cultural activities. Among the offerings: pony rides, beach volleyball, athletics, judo, full contact, BMX, drifts, laser game, inflatable structures, obstacle courses, chess, creative workshops, karaoke, and African drumming. Every afternoon from 2 PM to 6 PM, young people can move freely between activities.

An Outdoor Cinema Evening

A highlight of Festiv'Été is the outdoor cinema screening organized in the evening. In 2025, the film "Castle in the Sky" by Hayao Miyazaki was shown on Friday evening at 9 PM, offering a magical moment for families gathered in the green setting of Parc de Champagne.

A Safe and Supervised Event

Participant safety is a priority for the organizers. Checks with metal detectors are in place at the site entrance. All activities are supervised by qualified instructors and professionals. A catering area (paid) with a snack bar is available on-site.

Parc de Champagne: A Green Oasis

Parc de Champagne, with its 22 hectares of lawns, century-old trees, and shaded paths, provides an ideal setting for this summer event. Located southeast of the Reims city center, this historic park, classified as a Historical Monument, is one of the city's most beautiful green spaces.
