The great annual popular festival of Brunoy on the Island, by the Yerres, between concerts, sports and conviviality
Every end of June, Brunoy (91800) celebrates its town festival on the Île de Brunoy, a green setting on the banks of the Yerres. Sports, concerts, family entertainment, a guinguette and a July 14th fireworks display make for a festive summer in this town that has won the "Most Musical Town in France" label.
Brunoy is a commune in the Essonne department with approximately 27,000 inhabitants, crossed by the Yerres river and bordered by forests. It has the distinction of having been elected "Most Musical Town in France" several times, an award that reflects the commitment of the municipality and the people of Brunoy to culture and art. The Fête de la Ville, held every end of June, is the highlight of this festive vocation.
Each year, the Fête de Brunoy takes over the Île de Brunoy, a natural island formed by the meanders of the Yerres river in the heart of the commune. This privileged site, both central and green, offers an ideal setting for a popular event: meadows for concerts and shows, riverbanks for water activities, and shaded paths for family entertainment.
The Fête de la Ville de Brunoy offers a varied program each year:
Brunoy also celebrates music with flair every June 21st. The day starts at noon with vocal workshops and aperitif concerts, followed in the afternoon by performances by young people from Brunoy, then a musical evening with several bands, a giant karaoke, DJ sets, and a rock concert in the evening on the Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville.
The National Day is also celebrated with great enthusiasm in Brunoy. Every July 14th, the park of the Maison des Arts hosts a full program: daytime leisure activities, a republican picnic in the evening, and a musical fireworks display to close the evening.
Between July and August, Brunoy also offers summer entertainment: outdoor fitness trails, open-air cinema, games for everyone, guinguettes, and beach evenings all contribute to making the summer in Brunoy a festive time for all residents.
The 2025 Fête de la Ville was held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, on the Île de Brunoy. A complete program of sports, entertainment, and concerts enlivened the day from noon to midnight, with a guinguette and a closing concert in the evening.
The 2026 Fête de la Ville is expected at the end of June 2026 on the Île de Brunoy, true to its popular and friendly format, open to all residents and visitors of Brunoy.
