Accordion festival in the heart of Morvan
Every year in August, around the 15th, the town of Luzy, nestled in the southern Morvan, vibrates to the sound of the accordion. The Fête de l'Accordéon is a warm and popular musical event that celebrates this emblematic instrument of traditional and popular French music.
The originality of the Fête de l'Accordéon lies in its concept: every programmed group must include at least one accordionist in its lineup. This creative constraint opens up a vast musical field: musette, folk, trad, gypsy jazz, world music, songs... The accordion is revealed in all its diversity, from traditional musette dances to the most contemporary explorations.

The Accordion Festival returns to Luzy (Nièvre), in the heart of the Morvan, from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 16, 2026 for three days of musical celebration centered around the accordion. On the program: concerts, dances including the traditional 'bal à l'eau', jam sessions, musical aperitifs, a musical walk and an accordion parade.
The 2026 edition also offers accordion and dance workshops as well as an accordion discovery and repair workshop.
More than 18 groups and artists are announced for the 2026 edition: Les Sautreilles, Bouchon Tropikal, Duo Tazières, Matawa, Kaslan, Bastien Buteau, Duo Zarico, Trio Les Barreaux Verts, Gilles Pichard, Poïren, Framboyán, Sérac, Longskateurs, Ma Petite, Élise Charles, Arremar and the Naragonia Quartet.

By car: Luzy is located in the southern Morvan, 65 km from Nevers via the D978, 40 km from Autun via the D980, and 100 km from Dijon. Free parking in town. The town center is compact, and all festival venues are within walking distance.
By carpooling: Check carpooling platforms to facilitate access to the festival, especially from Nevers or Autun.
Concerts and events take place in the streets, squares, bars, and halls of Luzy. The main stage is set up outdoors in the town center. The famous "bal à l'eau" takes place in an original aquatic venue near the center.

Luzy and its surroundings offer gîtes, bed and breakfasts, and campsites. Book in advance as accommodation fills up quickly during the festival, especially around August 15th. The municipal campsite in Luzy offers an economical and friendly option.
