About Fête de la Musique d'Issoire
The Issoire Music Festival, now organized by the Festipat association under the title « Issoire fête la musique by Festipat », is a free musical event that takes place every year around June 21st on Place de la Montagne, in the heart of Issoire city center (Puy-de-Dôme).
For two evenings, the square transforms into a large open-air stage with a succession of free concerts: rock tributes, big variety orchestras, young local talents, and tributes to iconic French chanson artists. The event, open to all, brings together Issoire residents and visitors from the surrounding area in a festive and friendly atmosphere, with a refreshment stand and on-site catering.
Issoire celebrates music by Festipat: a popular and free celebration
Born in February 2024 from the friendship between Patrick Védrine (restaurateur, owner of L'Entrepotes) and Dimitri Darrot (co-manager of the Comm360 communication agency), the Festipat association organizes the Issoire Music Festival every year on Place de la Montagne. The original idea: to offer Issoire residents a big free concert on the evening of the Music Festival, to bring together the public from Issoire and the surrounding area around music and conviviality.
Place de la Montagne, an open-air stage
All concerts are held on Place de la Montagne, in the heart of Issoire city center, with free and open access. The square hosts rock tribute bands, big variety orchestras, young local singers, and immersive shows, with a program designed for all generations.
An eclectic program
The Issoire Music Festival offers a varied program each year, mixing rock, French and international variety, pop, disco, funk, and tributes to iconic artists. The event highlights local and regional artists from Puy-de-Dôme and Auvergne (Grand orchestre Bernard Becker de Clermont-Ferrand, young talents from The Voice Avenue Issoire) while also hosting professional tribute bands.
A free and friendly event
A refreshment stand and catering are available on site (card payment accepted). The event benefits from the support of the City of Issoire and the Agglo Pays d'Issoire agglomeration community, and is part of the summer cultural dynamic of the city of Issoire, alongside the Vendred'Issoire and the API cultural season.

Issoire celebrates music by Festipat — 2026 edition on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 7 PM to 10:30 PM, Place de la Montagne in Issoire (63). Four free open-air concerts: Tribute Queen, Grand Orchestre Bernard Becker, The Voice Avenue (10 talents) and Balavoine Expérience.
Fête de la Musique 2026 in Issoire — Festipat edition
For its third edition, the Festipat association takes over the organization of Issoire's Fête de la Musique on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Place de la Montagne. Four free concerts, accessible to all without reservation, will take place each evening from 7 PM to 10:30 PM.
Four tributes and a spotlight on local talents
The 2026 program features rock and French variety tributes (Queen, Daniel Balavoine), the great Clermont-Ferrand orchestra of Bernard Becker (international variety, 80s, disco, funk) and highlights ten young singers from The Voice Avenue Issoire singing school, pre-selected by Bruno Berbérès (casting director for The Voice).
A summer and friendly atmosphere
Refreshments and snacks are available on site (card payment accepted). The Postillon, Gare, and Halle aux grains car parks, all free, are in immediate proximity. For visitors coming from Clermont-Ferrand, Issoire's SNCF train station is a 10-minute walk from the square.

Friday, June 19, 2026 — Place de la Montagne
- 7:00 PM — Tribute Queen Rock · A live tribute to Queen's greatest hits (Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Don't Stop Me Now…), with staging designed to thrill the audience.
- 8:00 PM — Grand Orchestre Bernard Becker · Twenty musicians from Clermont-Ferrand for a great show of French and international variety, 80s, disco, pop, rock, and funk.
Saturday, June 20, 2026 — Place de la Montagne
- 7:00 PM — The Voice Avenue — 10 Talents · Ten young singers from The Voice Avenue singing school in Issoire, pre-selected by Bruno Berbérès (casting director for The Voice show).
- 8:00 PM — Balavoine Expérience · An immersive tribute show honoring Daniel Balavoine (Tous les cris les SOS, L'Aziza, Sauver l'amour…), led by Cyril Auklair and his team.
