Every June 21, Le Bouscat celebrates the Fête de la Musique in the heart of parc de la Chêneraie. Organized by the Ville du Bouscat, the evening is entirely free and features an eclectic program, from ensembles of the municipal music school to open stages for amateurs, followed by a concert and a DJ set to dance late into the night, in a human-scale green setting.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Le Bouscat, a commune in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, into an open-air stage every June 21. The City brings together amateur musicians, students from the municipal music school, and guest artists for a free and friendly evening, in the shade of the trees of parc de la Chêneraie.

The event takes place in parc de la Chêneraie, a green oasis in the city center. The evening opens with ensembles from the municipal music school, continues with open stage sessions dedicated to local talents, then a concert and a DJ set that keep the party going until the heart of the night. New for 2026: the Castel d'Andorte
The 2026 edition is marked by the inauguration of the Castel d'Andorte, a restored 18th-century castle that becomes a cultural venue open to the public for the occasion of the festival.
