About Menthalo Festival
Every year, the Menthalo Festival brings together associations, healthcare professionals, and artists in Bordeaux to discuss mental health. Spearheaded by the Compagnie d'Ockham in partnership with the Bordeaux Local Mental Health Council, the event is part of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM). It offers a full day featuring an information village, networking opportunities, and festive activities open to everyone. Launched in 2024, the festival combines personal stories, workshops, and performances to help shift perspectives on mental health disorders.
Menthalo Festival — edition 2026
The 3rd edition of the Menthalo Festival takes place on October 17, 2026, at Le Bien Public, located on Quai Deschamps in Bordeaux. This free event dedicated to mental health features an information village, a sound installation created by members of GEM Mediagora, a panel discussion with author Mathilde Besset, and a live concert by Crawfish Wallet.

- 3:30 PM–6:00 PM — Sound installation: A creative project by GEM Mediagora members sharing their personal experiences with mental health
- 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM — "Contrairement aux apparences…" Workshop: An artistic and photographic walk led by Gaël · Clubhouse Bordeaux, registration required ([email protected] or 07 66 01 62 99, by 14/10/2026)
- 4:00 PM — Panel discussion and Q&A with Mathilde Besset (author of "Est-ce que c'est normal ?"), Loïc Crobu (clinical psychologist), and Laura Stromboni-Couzy (@mydearvagina)
- 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM — "Contrairement aux apparences…" Writing workshop, led by Samuel · Clubhouse Bordeaux, registration required ([email protected] or 07 66 01 62 99, by 14/10/2026)
- 6:00 PM — Mental Health Bingo Quiz, organized by Compagnie d'Ockham and professionals from the Centre hospitalier Charles-Perrens

- 10:00 PM — DJ set: Soum-Soum
