About Eyre en Jeux
Eyre en Jeux is a free, family-friendly festival dedicated to board games. Launched in 2023 by the municipal toy library of Belin-Béliet and the Salles media library, it takes over the town of Belin-Béliet in the Gironde region for an entire weekend.

The fourth edition of the intercommunal and intergenerational Eyre en Jeux festival takes place on October 17th and 18th, 2026, in Belin-Béliet: board games, wooden skill games, mini-golf, free tournaments, live music, and a big game night on Saturday.

The intercommunal and intergenerational Eyre en Jeux festival returns on October 17th and 18th, 2026, at the Belin-Béliet municipal gymnasium. Admission is free for everyone.

Programme Eyre en Jeux 2026
Areas open throughout both days:
- Early childhood area: motor skills course, pretend play, and building blocks
- Large wooden skill games
- Mini-golf courses
- Kendama initiation (Japanese cup-and-ball game)
- Escape box for all ages with Accro d'Aventure
- Local gaming associations area: chess, tarot, bridge, role-playing games, and more
- Large 2-player strategy games
- Party games for all ages and expert-level games
- Tabletop role-playing games: beginner and advanced tables
- Miniature painting and battles
- Pokémon trading card game initiation with Hard Geek Café
- Video games and arcade games: PC, consoles, and VR with the La Magnett association
- Free board game tournaments for parents and children with prizes: Saturday "Strike" at 3:30 PM, Sunday "Skyjo" at 3:30 PM (register 30 minutes before)
- Retro video game scoring challenges with prizes for top scores
- Robobrick Arena: LEGO Technic cars controlled by tablet
- Gaming culture exhibition and scavenger hunt to win a large bag of games
On Saturday evening, a big game night for all ages (6 and up) will be held at the gymnasium until midnight.
A food truck area will be open both days, along with a gaming shop run by As 2 Pik from Parentis-en-Born, where you can purchase the games you've tried at the festival.

- Saturday at noon and 7:00 PM: pop-rock band Sticky Shoes
- Sunday at noon: jazzy band Confidentiel

Eyre en Jeux: A weekend of gaming in Belin-Béliet
Eyre en Jeux was established in 2023 through a partnership between the municipal toy library of Belin-Béliet and the Salles media library. The inaugural event drew over 1,400 attendees across two days. Today, the festival is co-organized by both institutions as part of the Val de l'Eyre Territorial Convention, which encompasses the towns of Belin-Béliet, Salles, Saint-Magne, Le Barp, and Lugos.
Target audience: All ages.
The festival celebrates gaming in all its forms, focusing on four main goals:
- Promoting access to games for all age groups;
- Encouraging parents and children to bond through intergenerational and cross-cultural activities as part of local parenting support initiatives;
- Bringing residents together through relaxed, pressure-free leisure activities;
- Showcasing local resources and both French and international gaming culture.
Over 50 municipal staff members and volunteers from the five participating towns work together to welcome guests and introduce visitors to the various games on offer.
