Every June 21, Maisons-Laffitte celebrates the Fête de la Musique: open-air concerts at the Château park and events throughout the city center. In 2026, the day opens the Maisons-Laffitte Jazz Festival and combines samba, brass bands, and world music, in a festive and completely free atmosphere.
The Fête de la Musique in Maisons-Laffitte
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Maisons-Laffitte into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from mid-afternoon until evening, with a highlight in the heart of the Château park and events spread throughout the city center.
A celebration at the Château park and in the city center
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the Château park hosts an open-air stage starting at 2 PM, with free concerts open to all audiences. This day marks the kick-off of the Maisons-Laffitte Jazz Festival (June 19-28, 2026), of which it is one of the popular highlights.
In the city center, cafés, restaurants, and shops extend the celebration throughout the day with live music, DJ sets, and food, in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. A refreshment stand and light catering are also available on site at the park.
Fête de la Musique in Maisons-Laffitte — edition 2026
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Maisons-Laffitte will take place on Sunday, June 21st, from 2 PM until the evening, free of charge at the Château park and in the city center. Samba, brass bands, and world music will set the rhythm for the day, which opens the Maisons-Laffitte Jazz Festival.

Program announced for the 2026 edition:
Château Park — from 2 PM
- 2 PM — Rosa de Samba: ensemble with Brazilian colors (samba, bossa nova, and festive rhythms).
- 5 PM — Alliance Musicale de Maisons-Laffitte: municipal wind orchestra over 150 years old, from classical to contemporary repertoire.
- 8:30 PM — Lazcar Volcano: project blending oral traditions and contemporary urban sounds, between African, Caribbean, and Reunion influences.
City Center — all day long
Concerts and entertainment in the cafes, restaurants, and shops of the city center, with live music, DJ sets, and food available throughout the day.
