The Fête de la Musique in Vitry-le-François: the town center in music

Every year around June 21st, the town of Vitry-le-François celebrates music with a rich and varied program in the streets and squares of the town center. The event is co-organized by the City of Vitry-le-François and the conventioned stage Bords² Scènes, in partnership with the bars, restaurants, and shops of the town center.

Five stages in the heart of the city

The Fête de la Musique in Vitry-le-François includes five concert areas:

• Grand rue de Vaux: equipped stage for amplified bands
• Rue Aristide Briand: stage dedicated to various music genres
• Place de la Halle: stage in the heart of the historic center
• Place d'Armes: main stage for evening concerts
• Jardins de l'Hôtel de Ville: acoustic stage in a green setting

A local and regional program

The Fête de la Musique in Vitry-le-François highlights local and regional artists with diverse musical offerings: rock, chanson, world music, jazz, electro, and many other genres. Concerts start in the afternoon and continue until late evening, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere throughout the town center.

A unifying event

Beyond the official stages, the Fête de la Musique in Vitry-le-François is an opportunity for amateur musicians to take over terraces and public spaces. Bars and restaurants in the town center actively participate in the event, creating a warm atmosphere that enlivens the city of François Ier for a summer evening.
