The Saint-Pierre Festival, Agde's traditional fishermen's celebration, takes place from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Agde's city center and at the Criée du Grau d'Agde. Honoring Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, it blends maritime fervor, Occitan traditions, and popular entertainment: parades, torchlight procession, blessing of boats at sea, nautical jousts, seafood tastings, concerts, and fireworks. Free admission.
From Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026, the city of Agde and Le Grau d'Agde celebrate their emblematic maritime festival in honor of Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen. For three days, Agde's city center and the Criée du Grau d'Agde come alive with sea traditions: processions and parades, homage to lost sailors, sea outing for the blessing of boats, nautical jousts, tastings of sardines and seafood, the traditional game of Lo Capelet, concerts, and fireworks.
The event is entirely free and open to all. Catering is available on site at the Criée du Grau d'Agde (43 quai Commandant Méric, 34300 Agde), reservations recommended.
