2026 edition of the Fête de la Saint-Pierre de Sète, from Thursday, July 2 to Monday, July 6, 2026. This edition corresponds to the 78th Grand Pardon de la Saint-Pierre, organized by the Amicale des pêcheurs Sète-Môle in honor of the patron saint of fishermen.
The 78th Grand Pardon de la Saint-Pierre will be held from Thursday, July 2 to Monday, July 6, 2026 in Sète, in the Hérault. For five days, the city celebrates Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, through the maritime traditions of Sète.
The usual program for this fishermen's festival includes: processions and torchlight retreat under the protective eye of the statue of Saint Peter, nautical jousting tournaments (joutes à la charrette, junior jousts, regional tournament, heavy jousts, school jousts), and the emblematic highlight, the sea procession of decorated boats for the blessing and floral tribute in memory of lost sailors, up to the Chapelle des Pénitents.
