The Fête de Montreux-Château: Popular Celebration in the Heart of the Territoire

Montreux-Château (90130) is a commune in the Territoire de Belfort with approximately 1,142 inhabitants, the Montreusiens, with a density of 245 inhabitants per square kilometer over its 4.67 km². It is part of the Grand Belfort agglomeration community and has been administered by Mayor Michaël Brun from the town hall located at Place Maréchal-de-Lattre-de-Tassigny (tel. 03 84 23 30 16).

The name Montreux-Château recalls the remains of an ancient medieval fortress that dominated this territory, now disappeared but whose memory endures in the toponymy and local identity. Each summer, the commune organizes its popular festival, a highlight of community life.
