The local festival of the industrial town at the gates of Belfort
Valdoie (90300) is a commune of 5,000 inhabitants in the Territoire de Belfort, bordering Belfort to the northeast. An essentially residential and industrial commune, it is known for its companies located in its business park and for its proximity to the center of Belfort. Its associative life is particularly dynamic, driven by numerous clubs and associations that animate the daily lives of the inhabitants.
The Fête de Valdoie is the main festive event of the year for the people of Valdoie. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Valdoie, whose purpose is to animate the commune by organizing or participating in festivals and other cultural, sporting, educational, or social events, it brings families together every summer in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.
The Fête de Valdoie offers a complete program for all generations:
Valdoie is part of the Grand Belfort urban community and benefits from this membership to develop its cultural and sporting projects. Its geographical location, at the crossroads of the roads connecting Belfort to Alsace and the Vosges, makes it a very active point of passage and life.
The Place Jean Moulin, in the heart of the commune, is the symbol of Valdoyenne identity. It is around this space that the main communal activities take place, including the local festival.
Valdoie has many active associations in the sports, cultural, social, and festive fields. The Comité des Fêtes coordinates the action of these associations during major local events, ensuring collective mobilization for the benefit of all residents.
The Fête de Valdoie is above all a moment of gathering and conviviality. In a densely populated commune with numerous activities, the local festival allows neighbors who sometimes cross paths without knowing each other to share a common moment, create bonds, and strengthen the sense of belonging to the Valdoyenne community. The proceeds from the stands and refreshment bars contribute to financing the associations' activities throughout the year.
The Comité des Fêtes de Valdoie is preparing a new edition of the local festival for summer 2026. Activities for children, a petanque tournament, associative stands, catering, and a dancing evening will be on the program. Details to come via the town hall and the festival committee.
