Valdoie's summer festival in Parc de la Douce, near Belfort
Valdoie (90300) is a town of approximately 6,000 inhabitants directly adjacent to Belfort, with which it maintains very close ties. Crossed by the river Savoureuse, this town has remarkable green spaces, including the Parc de la Douce, a vast natural area along the river that offers an ideal setting for walks, sports activities, and outdoor events.
Every summer, Parc de la Douce hosts Valdoie's major summer festival, organized by the association Vald'Anim in partnership with the municipality. Vald'Anim is an active association that works year-round to entertain the town, offering numerous events for residents of all ages.
Taking advantage of the exceptional natural setting of Parc de la Douce, the summer festival offers:
Valdoie is crossed by the river Savoureuse, which originates in the Vosges and joins the Doubs. This river, which long powered the region's mills and forges, is now a major environmental asset. Parc de la Douce, which runs along its banks, is a precious natural space in the heart of the Belfort urban area.
The association Vald'Anim is the main player in cultural and festive entertainment in Valdoie. Throughout the year, it organizes various events—flea markets, concerts, shows, bingo, carnival—that punctuate the town's life and attract visitors from all over the Belfort urban area. The Fête du Parc de la Douce is one of its annual highlights.
The Fête du Parc de la Douce extends beyond municipal borders to become an event for the Belfort urban area. Residents from neighboring towns—Belfort, Bavilliers, Danjoutin, Andelnans—converge on this park to enjoy a day of festivities in an enchanting natural setting.
The Parc de la Douce will once again host Valdoie's major summer festival in 2026. Vald'Anim and the municipality are preparing entertainment for children, shows, concerts, and outdoor catering in this green park. Full program to come.
