Concerts, water shows, and illuminations in the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud
Saint-Cloud is a town in the Hauts-de-Seine department with an exceptional natural and historical heritage. Its festivals are centered around the famous Domaine National, with summer Concerts and Water Shows, the July 14th Ball with a view of the Seine panorama, and the winter Lumières en Seine – all events that make Saint-Cloud a festive town with a unique atmosphere.
Saint-Cloud is a commune in the Hauts-de-Seine department with approximately 32,000 inhabitants, located on the banks of the Seine, opposite Boulogne-Billancourt and a stone's throw from Paris. It is best known for its Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a 460-hectare park managed by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN), which was once a royal and imperial residence and is now home to one of the most beautiful parks in the Île-de-France region. It is within this exceptional setting that the town's main festive events take place.
Saint-Cloud is also the location of Rock en Seine, the major annual music festival held every August in the Domaine. But beyond this internationally renowned festival, Saint-Cloud cultivates its own festive life, rooted in the rhythm of the seasons and the town's traditions.
Each summer, the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud organizes its Concerts and Water Shows, a festive event that celebrates the beauty of the park and its grand waters. These evenings, usually held in June, feature open-air concerts and pyrotechnic displays around the park's basins and waterfalls. The 2025 edition took place on Saturday, June 14th and Sunday, June 15th, offering a musical stroll through the historic gardens enhanced by spectacular water features.
These free or low-cost concerts attract thousands of spectators who enjoy the sunset over the Seine and the light and sound show in one of France's most beautiful parks.
The French National Day on July 14th is celebrated in Saint-Cloud with a popular ball at the bandstand or in a panoramic area of the town, offering a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and illuminated Paris. A moment of patriotic fervor and conviviality, open to residents and their guests.
As the year-end holidays approach, the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud transforms into a luminous pathway of over 2 kilometers with Lumières en Seine. This nocturnal land art exhibition, held from November 14, 2025, to January 11, 2026, features immersive light and sound installations along the park's pathways. A winter event that attracts tens of thousands of visitors each season.
Saint-Cloud is also a town of historic residences, with its 19th-century private mansions, villas, and preserved neighborhoods. Cultural life is active, supported by the municipal media library, cultural associations, and events organized by the town. The Fête de Saint-Cloud, in all its forms, reflects this richness: an art of living between nature, history, and modernity.
The Concerts and Water Shows of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud will return in June 2026, followed by the July 14th Ball with a view of Paris and Lumières en Seine in autumn-winter 2026-2027. Detailed program to be announced on the Domaine's website.
The 2026 festive program for Saint-Cloud will include the Concerts and Water Shows at the Domaine National in June, the July 14th Ball with its panoramic view of illuminated Paris, and Lumières en Seine in autumn-winter.
